PRAC Website Relaunch

The Prairies Regional Adaptation Collaborative (PRAC) is excited to relaunch its website to better support climate change adaptation on the Canadian Prairies.

The website has been redesigned to provide better access to resources, news and information on events related to adaptation across the Canadian prairies provinces.

It features announcements and events from the PRAC initiative and the larger adaptation community on the Prairies.  Visitors to the website will find information on funding opportunities for adaptation initiatives, new resources and tools for practitioners, and adaptation-related news items.

The website also features a curated list of relevant resources that can be used to help integrate climate change considerations into decision-making processes on the Prairies. The resources cover a wide variety of subject areas from municipal planning and infrastructure to drought and excessive moisture.

The PRAC is a federal-provincial cost share program between Natural Resources Canada and the governments of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta. The initiative aims to help decision-makers on the Prairies integrate climate change adaptation considerations into policy, planning and operation. The International Institute for Sustainable Development acts as Secretariat for the PRAC.
