The purpose of the forum is to enhance the ability of Prairie decision makers and
stakeholders to increase the resiliency of identified sectors to impacts from a changing
climate.

Objectives:

  • Engage with and build capacity among targeted decision-makers across the
    Prairies to develop stronger collaborative networks
  • Gain a shared understanding of best practices and lessons learned to date, to
    integrate and mainstream climate change adaptation into priority sectors
  • Develop sector, regional and provincial based priorities for future climate
    change adaptation
